How to Keep a New Account Password Unique

Uniqueness prevents one leak from unlocking everything

If the same password protects several accounts, a breach at one service can put the others at risk. Unique passwords reduce that link. A password manager can create and retain long credentials without asking you to memorize each one.

The generator is only one part of account security. Multi-factor authentication, recovery options, and timely software updates also matter. Follow a service's requirements, especially when it disallows certain characters.

Store it deliberately

Avoid saving a credential in an untrusted shared document or sending it through an insecure message. Use a password manager you trust and protect its recovery process.

CalcPool's local generator uses the browser cryptographic random API and does not keep a password on a server. Copy or save the result only into a destination you trust; closing the page removes it from the visible tool state.
